I'm behind in writing, so I'm going to use some of the older prompts. The one I chose for today is:

"Movies you enjoy watching most this month" by Jette.

I love watching holiday movies. I have quite a few that are a must for me.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is usually tops on the list. I've loved that movie ever since it came out and made me miss being with a big family for the holidays.

A Christmas Story is watched as a family, usually on Christmas Eve. Thankfully we finally just bought the movie and can watch it whenever we like.

Miracle on 34th Street, the old version thankyouverymuch. I like to start watching that one just after Thanksgiving. Seems fitting since that is when the time line in the movie starts.

Charlie Brown Christmas because, well, you just HAVE to watch it! It doesn't feel like Christmas if I haven't watched it at least once.

White Christmas because of all the wonderful musical numbers.

The Ref is always good for when you are stressed out and just need a good laugh. Denis Leary can always make my mood a little brighter.

How The Grinch Stole Christmas, both the animated and movie versions. I know most people don't like the movie version but as an old time Grinch fan, I like them both.

I'm all shopped out for the day and now I have four and a half days off from work. The best news is that I'll be returning to New Orleans for at least 60 days starting on January 8th. I'm pretty psyched about the return trip.

Now to open up some wine and put on some jammies and pretend it isn't nasty and raining outside.
